Inaugural show at Karthik Thirunal, Trivandrum. Packed hall on 26th Sep 2008. Two minister-Vijay Kumar (sport, youth, port, etc.) and Forest & Housing Minister Binoy Vishwam. Two ADGPs, Trivandrum IG, Trivandrum Commissioner, Director of Health Service, and many  guys. Every media entity was present too. Minister which magically transformed into a letter of resignation whereby, the minister had also donated all his property to Mr. Anand!   Our Fire Escape seems to have won them over. We expect unprecedented coverage tomorrow. Show was taken exceptionally well by all present. Mr Anand also got a letter of appreciation from Forest

At The Vizhinjam Harbour on 1st Oct 2008, at 11 am “The Under Water Escape” stunt going to perform by Akash , So don’t forget to see the cool stunt.

I am a journalist. I have attended many live performance shows including magic shows. 15 days back my channel gave me resposiblity to cover up the tour of Jadugar Anand and his team which also included his son Akash in Thiruvananthpuram Kerala. I took as normal assignment given to me by my channel. My assignment started by collecting information about Jadugar Anand and his previous shows.I read old newspapers, magazines, searched net and all the possible media. Information I gathered stunted me. It made me anxious to watch their shows. Before their shows a press conference was organised to provide all information about their upcoming shows. I was present there. Their actual show started on 21st Sept. Akash performed his Fire Escape show at Chandershekhar Nair Stadium. It was a wonderful show. He was all chained and locked but he successfully exited a burning hay stack in just 45 seconds. Second show was again a stunt. Akash performed his Blindfolded bike ride. It's basic purpose was to pass on message of safe driving. He drove like any driver who has vision or rather I say better than them.Next show was their inaugural magic show, which was on 26th Sept. at Karthika Thirunal hall. My other media friends were also present their to cover the show. It was a housefull show. Minister of sports, youth, port, etc Mr. Vijaya Kumar, Minister of Forest and housing Mr. Binoy Vishwam, two ADGP's, Trivandrum IG, Trivandrum Commisioner, Director of Health Services and lot of other guys were also included the guests list. I was impressed with the whole show but did like low motion vanishing of Statue of Liberty, Floating of one of the ADGP's daughter in the air, Elephant appearance on an empty stage, cutting of an assistant, exit and entry of character from a running TV screen and appreciation letter from Forest Minister which magically transformed into a letter of resignation and the minister had also donated all his property to Mr. Anand! Their magic shows continuing. Four big events of their tour are over now Underwater Escape remains he biggest event to held on 1st Oct at Vizhinjam Harbour. I am waiting anxiously to see Akash perform this stunt. It is very risky feat. Last year Akash had performed this stunt and was the first one as nobody performed in last 40 years. I have packed all my cameras and other stuff for 1st Oct.  

Its a boring Sunday.. straight stuck here at home with just the internet for entertainment (yuck! im sick of TV),  , so I thought I would do some shopping.
 I entered the Shoping Mall which was filled with young boys and girls shopping. I bought a pair of faded blue jeans and two t-shirts and was returning back home when I saw a huge hoarding which portrayed the picture of Jadugar Anand and his team. I also came to know that Akash was performing a live Fire Escape show at Chandrashekhar Nair stadium (Thiruvananthpuram).Since it was on the way to my home I thought I would stop by and watch I entered the stadium which was filled with lots of people cheering Akash. Akash was tied with 45 chains and 45 locks. There was a huge hay stack placed in the center of the stadium. A crane picked up Akash from the ground and placed him in the hay stack. Then the team members of Jadugar Anand poured kerosine around the hay stack and set it on fire. But to my surprise within seconds Akash was out of the burning hay stack, free from chains and locks. I had a great opportunity to see the Fire Escape show live in front of my eyes. Then Akash was garlanded by many spectators and interviewed by the local channels. Akash holds a world record for doing the fire escape with 45 seconds. It all happened in just 40 - 45 seconds. What a stunt that was and what a sunday entertainment I had. After a long time my boring day Sunday become enjoyable and memorable day. I will never forget this day in my life.
